Shortlist success for Panasonic at InAVation Awards
Organised by InAVate magazine in conjunction with ISE, the awards are a major event on the AV industry calendar and are held on the first evening of ISE in Amsterdam. The 2017 awards have received a record number of quality technology entrants.
Launched in April 2016, the AF1 is a finalist for the ‘Technology for Digital Signage (Display)’ category. A standalone digital signage solution, it features built-in System-On-a-Chip and Android-based OpenPort PLATFORMTMtechnology to allow organisations to create and run custom apps for specialised signage applications.. The AF1 is a finalist for the ‘Technology for Digital Signage (Display)’ category.
Also up for an award is the PT-RZ31K projector, Panasonic’s brightest large venue laser projector at 31,000 lumens. Incorporating the company’s proprietary SOLID SHINE technology, the projector is designed for 20,000 hours of maintenance free operation and offers an extremely reliable foundation for impressive large-scale light shows and 3D mapping.
Finally, Panasonic’s BF1 display is also nominated. The interactive touchscreen display series operates completely PC-less and gives users the ability to interact and work with a wide array of media formats. 12-point multi-touch allows whole groups to make notes on the display simultaneously bringing interactivity and engagement to presentations, seminars and meetings.
Hartmut Kulessa, European Marketing Manager at Panasonic, said, “The InAVate Awards are always well attended and we are pleased that the strength of Panasonic’s visual technologies have shone through even with the larger number of entrants that the awards have had this year.”
Voting opens on 21 November 2016, with the event taking place on 7 February 2017.
