Panasonic recognised at AV awards 2017 with six nominations
Panasonic has received six nominations across five categories at AV Awards 2017, including a shortlisting for the prestigious manufacturer of the year.
The company was shortlisted in three product categories for four different products, namely the Space Player (PT-JX200) and PT-RZ575 laser projector for Projector of the Year (under 4,999 lumens), the PT-RZ31K high brightness laser projector for Projector of the Year (over 5,000 lumens) and LinkRay™ technology, a 1-2-1 customer marketing tool, for Digital Signage Product of the Year.
In addition, Panasonic Business and the Projection Studio were also shortlisted for Live Event of the Year for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which utilised video projection for the first time in 2016.
Additionally, a number of other projects which utilised Panasonic AV technology were also shortlisted within the project categories, including the University of Leeds Collaborative Lecture Theatre Project with Pure Audio Visual Ltd, Drake Tour with PRG Ltd, the Maersk Building at Copenhagen University with Stouenborg, Cardiff University with Harmonia Consulting Ltd and The Pink Floyd Exhibition with Sennheiser.
Each year the AV Awards rewards companies within the global audio visual industry for best practice and innovation. This year’s 19th edition, organised by AV Magazine, will be celebrated at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday 29th September.
