Panasonic nominated in two categories at InAVation awards 2018
Panasonic has been shortlisted for two technology categories at this year’s InAVation awards, which takes place in Amsterdam on the 6th February, during ISE 2018.
Organised by InAVate magazine, in conjunction with ISE, the annual awards which celebrates the best of the AV industry has shortlisted Panasonic for two technology categories.
Panasonic’s LinkRayTM technology, officially launched in Europe at ISE 2017, has been nominated for the Technology for Digital Signage award. Using visible light communication to transmit content to mobile devices, this innovative technology turns digital signage displays, signboards and light sources into a 1-2-1 marketing tool for smartphones.
In addition, Panasonic’s unrivalled 30,000 lumens SOLID SHINE laser projector, the PT-RZ31K, is up for the Technology for Entertainment/Live Events award. Specifically designed for large venue applications, the RZ31K not only offers extremely high lumen output and superb laser colour reproduction, but also contains a Real Motion Processor, which uses frame-creation technology to reproduce smooth video images with minimal blur.
Lucy Meredith, Product Marketing Specialist for Panasonic UK, said, ‘It is great to see Panasonic’s AV technology once again nominated for these prestigious awards. Whilst being up against some tough competition, we are pleased that the strength of Panasonic’s visual technology has shone through.”
