Panasonic nominated for four categories at Security and Fire Awards 2017.

Panasonic security products have received four nominations at the 2017 Security & Fire Excellence Awards to be held in London.

The Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2017 is set to take place at the London Hilton, Park Lane Hotel on Wednesday 22nd November. 

Panasonic has achieved success with four award nominations, including two nominations for CCTV camera equipment of the year. The first is for the Aero PTZ camera (WV-SUD638),  Panasonic’s most robust, all weather IP camera.

In addition, the WV-X6531N, Panasonic’s weatherproof dome camera, has also been nominated for the award. The latest in Panasonic’s advanced security range, it combines Full HD with H.265 smart coding to offer a camera ideal for city CCTV surveillance, with significant operability. 

The company’s VL-VN1900 IP video intercom system has been nominated for Communication product of the year. The technology is configured to use just one cable -  drastically reducing installation costs, with the ability to support up to 2,000 devices, making it suitable for large apartment complexes and offices. 

Further success for the company has been achieved with the installation at Donau-Einkaufszentrum Shopping Centre in Regensburg, Germany.  A finalist for the Security project installation of the year, the shopping centre has replaced its’ legacy security system with a total of 62 Panasonic CCTV cameras and four network video recorders.
