Panasonic presents innovative 4K camera technology in ophthalmology at ESCRS
Panasonic Industrial Medical Vision (IMV) will be showcasing its innovative technology in Industrial Medical Vision to the 36th Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), Europe’s leading congress for cataract, refractive surgeons and ophthalmology.
The event will be held in Vienna, Austria between 22-26 September 2018. Panasonic will demonstrate a microscopy solution featuring the GP-UH532 4K Ultra HD Micro Camera alongside the MedXChange Evolution 4K Recording System.
In addition to that, Panasonic will also showcase the IMV 4MOS solution.
The 4K Ultra HD Micro Camera (GP-UH532) is the smallest 1/3inch camera head on the market and can be used in a variety of medical applications due to its compliance with Medical Electrical Standards IEC60601. With 3840x2160 resolution at 50p/60p the camera is capable of outputting images at up to 1600 TV lines, for smooth, detailed pictures and accurate colour reproduction.
The camera features various HDMI and SDI outputs, with 4K/2K simultaneous output. The latest firmware including many innovative features such as the “automatic profile shift function,” will be shown on-site as well.
