Steps being taken as a result of Coronavirus COVID-19

First of all, Panasonic TOUGHBOOK Europe would like to thank all frontline people who are making sure our daily lives and wider infrastructure is kept running.

Next, we would like to share with you the steps we are taking to support our valued European customers, channel partners and employees during the intensifying Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

We want to assure you that we have made business continuity preparations and are taking the  necessary steps during this challenging period to ensure that we maintain the levels of service and customer support that you have come to expect from Panasonic. At this time, all our usual channels of communication, including our helpdesks, remain open, staffed and ready to deal with your enquiries.

Following health guidelines
At the same time, protecting the health of you, our customers, as well as our employees and business partners is our priority. As a result, we are following best practice guidelines on how to reduce the risk of infection through flexible remote working practices where applicable.

As you would imagine, Panasonic has all the mobile solutions in place to enable our staff to continue to work effectively and access critical information systems wherever they are located. We also appreciate your understanding and flexibility if some face-to-face meetings are changed to virtual meetings.

Product lead times
The global supply chains of some vendors, including component production, were disrupted as a result of the Coronavirus. Mitigation plans have already been implemented and we are monitoring the situation closely. We see component production once again beginning to pick-up.
