Panasonic strengthens digital signage line-up
Panasonic is set to expand its networked digital signage line up with the launch of a 65 inch display before next month’s ISE.
The TH-65EF1 is an addition to the company’s entry level professional display series, which consists of 32, 43, 48, 55, 65, 75 and 84 inch panels. Each features a built-in USB media player, eliminating the need for a set-top box or a connected PC.
LAN connection allows content changes and scheduling to be made using Panasonic’s Multi Monitoring Control Software. It’s also possible to have synchronised playback on multiple screens using the USB media player, when connected via LAN and a hub.
Panasonic European Marketing Manager Enrique Robledo, said, “This an extra option within a range of very cost effective Panasonic displays which are lightweight, robust and offer excellent connectivity options.”
In total, 59 PC signal types are supported and the panels offer connectivity via two HDMI, DVI-D, USB, PC/component, and video inputs joining LAN, RS-232C, and IR in/out terminals.
In addition, the panels have a thin bezel of just 13.9mm1 and are equipped with automated detection and switching of signals, so that the last signal is always the one displayed, whether digital or analog.
