Bringing The Wall to life for Roger Waters

When video director, Richard Turner, wanted to bring Roger Waters’ ‘The Wall Live’ concert tour to life, he turned to the support of Panasonic high-brightness projector technology.

In conjunction with the expertise of multi-award winning AV experts Xl Video, forty units of Panasonic twenty thousand lumens PT-DZ21KE and PT-DS20KE high-brightness projectors were installed into grand-scale stadiums and arenas, as the musician delivered twenty-seven electrifying performances across Europe.

“This wide wall stadium show couldn’t have been done 40 years ago. We couldn’t have filled the space in a way that would have been emotionally, musically and theatrically satisfying. Technology has changed. Now we can.”

The projected images covered 20,000 sq. ft. of wall.

Thanks to the exceptional brightness levels and crystal clear imagery of the Panasonic PT-DZ21K, Roger Waters was able to deliver a state-of-the-art visual spectacular onto the colossal 20,000 square feet of wall, celebratory of Pink Floyd’s iconic stage concept.
