Panasonic’s Face Matching technology has ranking highly in benchmark testing by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology, for the second year running.


A new industry whitepaper from Panasonic Business looks at the current attitudes to CCTV network security, and what needs to change as sensitive camera feeds increasingly move online. 


Titled ‘Just how secure is your video surveillance?’, the whitepaper argues that cameras indirectly provide a lot of vital information about a location or organisation that can be researched anonymously over the Internet, without having the person accessing the data present at the site.


Panasonic will introduce a new end to end, cyber secure CCTV system at this week’s IFSEC event in London (20th – 22nd June 2017).


Top Swiss ice hockey club SCL Tigers have put the freeze on disruption at matches thanks to the installation of a new Panasonic security camera system.

The club has chosen the company’s 4K dome camera, the WV-SFV781L, to monitor spectator stands at the ILFISHALLE stadium in Langnau. With 6x optical zoom and true 4K, the club is able to monitor the entire length of each stand using just two cameras.
