Panasonic operating in 4K at COMPAMED 2017
Panasonic Industrial Medical Vision (IMV) is set to demonstrate its 4K imaging solution and 4K Documentation System at this year’s COMPAMED exhibition.
The trade fair, dedicated to suppliers and manufacturers of medical technologies, is held in Düsseldorf, Germany from the 13th – 16th November 2017. Panasonic Industrial Medical Vision will exhibit a variety of high-performing 4K products targeting a wide segment of medical applications in the fields of ophthalmology, neurosurgery, dental and much more.
Panasonic IMV will demonstrate the 4K Ultra HD micro camera GP-UH532, that is capable of outputting images with a horizontal resolution of up to 1600 TV lines, for smooth, detailed pictures and accurate colour reproduction. Thanks to the 1/3 inch image sensor, the micro camera provides the smallest 4K camera head on the market. In addition to that, the system complies with the IEC60601-1 and IEC60601-1-2 requirements for medical devices.
Furthermore, Panasonic will present the new 4K Documentation System (POVCAM). This surgical video recording system including the portable compact recorder AG-MDR25 and the 4K camera head AG-MDC20GJ, features high-definition 4K image acquisition, advanced IP control as well as IP streaming and double SD memory card slots (SDXC).
“Panasonic Industrial Medical Vision is supporting medical practitioners, from dentists to surgeons, with the very best camera technology. Besides our recent camera systems, we will also introduce new state-of-the technology at this year’s COMPAMED exhibition,” says Margarita Zoussevitch, European Marketing Manager at Panasonic Industrial Medical Vision.
